Day 6

Believe it or not, this one is a Shawn inspired garment. He always has great looking short sleeved plaiddies that work well for summer. I particularly liked the blue-green unconventional pattern and loose, but not too loose cut of this one. I still struggle with whether or not to wear a shirt underneath this guy...most of the time I want to opt out, however I think the general public would be blinded by my gorgeous physique & swoon at the hope of seeing just a bit of chest hair, so I usually opt for the under-tee. It's a public safety move, smartly calculated. Still, i love this shirt for it's potential, it could be a crowd-pleaser.

Day 5

The result of yet another attempt to buy something a little different & a little 'now'. The goal of this Timberland was to look hip...unfortunately as it turns out I look more like a hipster dufus ala Kramer but without the grace. Looks okay on the hanger but once on this shirt is obviously for a tall slender fella. Us short stocky fellas have dreams too. Although not as cool as I initially thought, still not the worst $8 I've ever spent.

Yet another gift...this one from xmas '06. I'll give my mom credit though, it was supposed to be worn beneath a sweater but it's June & that ain't gonna happen. This one isn't really cut well for me so despite it's Nautica logo, i think it's going to make a goodwill shopper look a bit more preppy (I'll throw in the sweater)

No music today because I did not work. But the world does not stop for PBK, Verk continues to "find" himself. Enjoy....

Day 3

This shirt I bought last year when I convinced myself to go shopping for something outside my comfort zone & unlike the other stuff that I wear all the time. Clearly, mission accomplished...It was a bold move to go with red. Notice the tight plaid pattern, it's just this close to being a solid. Daring to say the least. This one is staying in the shirt rotation though...I'm a sucker for Nautica.

This is a shirt my sister bought for me when I asked her to get me a shirt that doesn't make me look 30 years old. Evidently my entire family is conspiring against me or just thinks I look good in plaid. Actually, I kind of like this shirt & will probably keep it in my wardrobe rotation when this whole thing is over.

Day 1

This is the shirt that was given to me by my mother over the weekend. I had always thought that I owned a number of plaid shirts, but this gift made me wonder; just how many? and which one defines me? Maybe at the end of this I will know the answers to both.

"So I recently realized (after my mom bought me a shirt over the weekend) just how many button-up, plaid shirts I have…So I'm going to wear a different one to work every day until I run out. I think I have enough to get through the middle of July. I can email you a picture of the shirt each day….Banessa think's it's hilarious…(& she's taking me shopping this weekend)."
