Not a complete playlist for Monday, because I listened to the radio for part of the day. Three things were worthy of mention though.
-Black Sabbath - Paranoid. And people said John Bonham had a thunderous drum presence. Whoa. I forgot how good this album is.
-The Rolling Stones - Flowers. Ruby Tuesday is genius. I really like Stones bsides. The singles get so much play. Cuts like Please Go Home get too little recognition.
-T.Rex - The authors of the high school band favorite, Get It On. These guys rock. It's like if Devendra Barnhart didn't sound so depressed and wierd. Like Bowie's upbeat songs. PBK's gotta check it out.
-Mexican Institute of Sound - Pinata. The Beck of Mexico. 'nough said.
T Rex "Electric Warrior" ... listened to it on 6/16/06 & 2/22/07. Guess I'm do for another go around. I have to confess something, I'm partial to the version of Bang a Gong by The Power Station. I was obsessed with that when I was little.
