French Crullers.......

That explains it. Not only is it tough to find my favorite donut in real life but it is even harder to find a picture of one on the internet (they are the ones on the right). I hardly ever have a sweet tooth but when it kicks in all I want is one of two things. Either a French Cruller or a Pepperidge Farm raspberry turnover. That is all I ask for. Ever since Dunkin Donuts split town I have been out of luck in the donut department. They are so good. I have been thinking about eating one all weekend. All I need is one please. One of those and a freezing cold glass of milk. I don't even like milk but with a cruller...........

Explaination to the "Language Lesson".........

I figured why not use some of this time casually attempt to learn another language. I am hoping that the repitition will aid in my retention. I don't know if you can teach an old dog new tricks but why not try. Let's see how it goes.

Oh, and I'm also watching Rockstar Supernova. It's great. There is nothing else on all summer so this is all I got. I will hold onto it for dear life.

The longer my hair gets the balder I look. The top of my head..... wow. I have to wear a hat when I go outside for an extended period of time. If I don't I burn. I don't think God is cruel for this but what a bummer. I have to kick a can for this every once and awhile.

Saturday night....

I watched this. Kind of a downer but it had its moments. It starred Vincent Perez from The Crow 2 of all things. Speaking of crummy movies.

It is really hot outside. I'm starting to question which is worse. Being really cold or really hot. At least when it's freezing out you can get warm. This heat is the worst.

Syd Barrett .... R.I.P.

Just a couple of things to say about this.

His solo work was given to me as a gift for my graduation from high school (a friends parents got it for me). Pink Floyd was my introduction to music but as I began exploring the large body of work the band had provided I really began to appreciate their first two albums more and more. I remember playing 'Madcap Laughs' for the first time in my bedroom at my parents house. I just layed on my floor and tapped my foot just a little bit. His crooked voice just hit the spot for my ears I guess. It was just right.

My first tattoo centered around a date with this girl I was crazy about. She was tall, beautiful, and kind of mean. All I know is she wanted to hang out with me. Her date idea was going out and getting a tattoo. I never thought I would get one in my life but you had to see this girl....... she was worth it. I was told I had to get something meaningful. I thought about it. I got SYD tattooed on the inside of my right arm. That meant something to me (I was 18) What did she get? A butterfly on her ankle. What??? That meant something??? That was something like 12 years ago. People would ask if that tattoo represented Sid Vicious. At that time I had no idea who Sid Vicious was.

Good luck Syd, thanks for making all of those great things to listen to.
